Job Description
The Finance and Compliance Officer will oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance monitoring, and internal control systems. The role ensures proper financial accountability, donor compliance, and efficient management of organizational resources.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expenditure analysis
Monitor budget implementation and cash flow
Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies
Support audits and financial reviews
Process payments, payroll, and procurement documentation
Maintain proper filing and documentation systems
Support asset and inventory management
Ensure financial transparency and accountability
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expenditure analysis

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an added advantage
Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience
Experience working in NGOs or donor-funded projects preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Understanding of donor compliance procedures
Ability to work independently and under pressure
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an added advantage
